Deck building of heat-treated wood has a good resistance to rot. As a rule, no chemicals are used in the process, only high temperatures and water vapor. Check that the raw material consists of slow-growing pine to get a trolley with a long service life.
The trolley can be oiled and lasered. Cleaning with soap, water and regular long brush, but not high pressure. The wood will naturally turn gray over time.
